Day 144

AM/PM--NON-fiction book Today was the last full day on the computers. Tomorrow we will be printing. I cannot say after school tomorrow however those who need extra time can save it on the computer thumb drive an do it at home or they can come in early tomorrow. Journals/Math Review Math: Today we had a game show. Where students got to win golden chocolate coins for using the rules of probability to determine which colored chip I could pick out of the bad. We also watched a movie clip on ratios by the brainpop.com website. Music: Recorder practice Read Aloud: Homer P. Figg Social Studies: We finished up talking about the causes of the Civil War by learning about the Dred Scott case, the Kansas-Nebraska Act, the secession of the South because of states' rights. Art: We worked on the covers of our non-fiction books. HW: Math: Green worksheet on probability Reading: Finish your book so you can do your project by Friday
