AM/PM--Buddy Reading, Center's, Guided Reading
Writing: We filled out a graphic organizer to help us write up a new persuasive essay on Utahwrite.com. This is supposed to be done for homework this weekend. It should be an 1 hour (with no parental help) session on the utahwrite.com.
Math: Today we took math Unit 3 test over again. We have been reviewing this topic all week. I am happy with the results. We also took a pretest for the students who wanted to be exempt for the homework. We had two students pass.
Read Aloud: Redwall
Thanks to Matthew's mom who brought in Rootbeer floats in for the class for his birthday.
Science: We reviewed the things we learned yesterday and then took a quiz. We learned what homozygous, heterozygous, geneotype, phenotype, and offspring was and then also learned to make a Punnett square.
HW:
Read.
Do the UtahWrite.com persuasive essay practice and submit. The topic they are supposed to do is Party inside or outside.
