I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.

Day 98

AM/PM--Typed up our persuasive essays. If you didn't finish it, then students need to finish it up tonight.

Math: Today we went over how to convert fractions to decimals and percentages. We also reviewed how to change improper fractions into mixed numbers and vice versa. Then, we took a quiz to see if they retained the information this week. I graded these while they were in PE and gave them back so that they could take it home to have parents signed. I can only spend 1 week reviewing this information so unfortunately I couldn't meet with everyone to help fix up any misunderstanding. However, I did get to meet with a few people during our lunch break for a small tutoring session. If you can look over it with your child to help them understand anything, I would appriciate it.

Science: Today we learned some new words that help us to understand genetics and heredity. They are homozygous, heterozygous, phenotype, genotype and offspring.

Art: We finished up our Picasso/inhereted traits self-portrait.

HW:

Go over math quiz, get it signed and study for the test tomorrow.
