AM/PM--Centers and Reading Practiced
Writing-- today we started talking about bound verses. We learned about couplets, triplets and quatrains. We will start writing those tomorrow.
Math: We reviewed our homework problems and answered any questions. Then we took a quiz to check understanding. Everyone did pretty good. Those that didn't do so well met with me during lunch to get some one-on-one tutoring.
We also learned about equality and equations. For example 6 x 2 = 3 x 4. We made one of the numbers a variable.
Read Redwall.
Science: We took our test on Heredity and Genetics. Everyone did pretty good.
Social Studies: Today we discussed more of the Constitution. We discussed the difference between the Articles of Confederacy and Constitution and why there had to be a change.

Fill out your February Calendars and bring them in.
Math: Green worksheet on equality and writing equations.
