Day 109

AM/PM - Buddy Reading/Spelling #23 test, reading

Writing: Today we did a practice DWA test. This was for me and for the students to be familiar with test. Remember that the test will be given NEXT Friday March 2. Please do everything you can to make sure that your child is there that day.

Math: Today we reviewed Order of Operations. I answered any questions they had and then we practiced solving some problems.

Redwall/Self-start books.

Science: Today we talked about how animals will do various things to try to stay a live. We talked today about camouflage and mimicry. Then, we tried to camouflage butterflies/moth around the room. I had a few kindergarteners come in and I told them every butterfly/moth that they found, they would get a candy. Then, whoever in the class had a butterfly/moth that didn't get found, got a treat.

Science: memorize your rap (by Tuesday)
