Today we:
Had P.E.
Math: Talked about how we can make logical predictions to outcomes by determining the possibilities. We did this by rolling dice and tallying the outcomes. We also talked about how lotteries and game shows use these possibilities to their advantage.
Science: We talked a bit more about inherited traits from our parents. We also talked about how chromosomes contain DNA which contains genes. We also observed a few traits that can be varied (attached and detached earlobes, hitchhiker thumbs).
Writing: We read a book about how placing a comma in certain areas will determine the meaning of the sentence. Then, we had our comma quiz. Most everyone did pretty good.
HW:
Math: w/s 5-10 I believe everyone finished up in class.
Read.
FYI: We are starting our persuasive letter writing letter tomorrow.
Our unit 5 math test will be on Tuesday.
Spelling bee is tomorrow.
