Today we:
Read more in our Book club books. We are still focusing on comprehension skills.
We had our school spelling bee. Great job, Hailey and Talon. They both did very well.
Science: We talked about Dominant and Recessive Genes. For homework, they are supposed to look in the mirror and observe the traits that they have. (Widow's peak, cleft chin, dimples, etc.)
Writing: We started our persuasive letter writing unit. If you remember, I sent home letters last Monday that told you about this. Starting tomorrow, they will bring home a letter to you asking for something for Christmas. Your job will be to do everything you can to resist their persuasive techniques.
