Today we learned:
Social Studies: We learned a little more about the making of the Constitution. We talked about how George Washington was the leader of the Constitutional Convention because he had won utmost respect from the American's because of his efforts in the Revolutionary War. We also talked about the Articles of Confederacy and how it was insufficient for the plan of the American government system. We also talked about how the different disputes that the delegates had during the making of the Constitution. For example, the number of votes that each state would have when determining the majority vote. We talked about Roger Sherman's "Great Compromise" to have a senate that would have 2 representatives from each state and then a House of Representatives that would be determined by the population of each state.
Math: After doing some review, it was determined that the test would be given out on Thursday. As an option, the students could choose to do the review for homework for extra credit. It was on page 245??(it is the Chapter review). #1-25. If they do it all, they will get 1 extra credit point for their test. If a parent signed it, they would get 2 extra credit points.
Science: With Mrs. Beach. The science test will be on Thursday.
Writing: Students are still working on their persuasive ads. These will be presented on Friday, Mon., and Tues.
HW:
(Optional) Math: It was on page 245??(it is the Chapter review) #1-25.
