Today we:
Small group time: I should record this but it is different for everyone. However, just so you know, they have been working on their book report and book club books. They read during this time while I am meeting with guided reading groups. The guided reading groups have been working on fluency and summarizing skills.
had P.E.
Math: Did some more review of math problems for the test tomorrow.
Writing: Worked on our persuasive ads. Tomorrow is the last day to work on it. Remember to look at the rubric to see if everything is like is should be.
Science: Students had a practice test. They can use that for a study guide for their test tomorrow.
Spelling bee: Congratulations to Hailey C. (1st place) and Talon (2nd place) for winning our class spelling bee. These two will represent our class in the school spelling bee. Good luck to them both. Also, congratulation to Haley T. for a VERY close 3rd place. She and Talon were at it for about 20 mins.
HW: NONE!!! the students earned their connect 5 chart. so they earned a free night of homework.
