Today we:
Gave out week 11 Spelling words/packets. The bonus words are memoir and persevere.
Writing/Small group: We talked today about how to write a memoir and then we wrote one about each other.
Class meeting: we talked about learning how to work hard.
Math: We went over the homework. Seems like most of the students got the concept pretty well. (Dividing money).
We didn't have a lot of time to start the next lesson on dividing with decimals. I gave them some time in class to do the homework and most everyone seemed to get the concept. We have lunch duty this week so I know not everyone got a chance to get that extra help. Hopefully, the explanation in the book will be helpful.
We also had an assessment to see if everyone is ready for the test. I saw that most everyone was somewhat ready. I will give the test on either Thursday or Friday. I'll decide tomorrow when we start our review. If everyone gets it well, I will do it on Thursday, if not we will review one more day.
