Today we:
Small group time is always literacy. I have been focusing on fluency and summaries of stories.
Math: We worked with beans, blocks, and disc/chips to help students to visualize division concepts. This is to help the to think beyond just the algorithm of solving division problems. We discussed double digit divisors with division. This is similar to our last unit but is a bit harder. We will discuss it again tomorrow to build on today's concepts.
Writing: We continued our discussion we had yesterday on strategies that people use to sell their products.
HW:
1. Read! Make sure they are recording their stars (minutes) in their hw folders.
2. Math: worksheet 4-4 (you can find it on the class page if they forgot it)
