I really missed the kids during the break. It was very good to see them today.
Today we:
Elected new class officers:
President: Hannah
VP: Kaitlyn B.
Secretary: Nate
We had a practice test with Week 12's Spelling words. The bonus words are: Heredity and Sincerely.
Please make sure that your child is turning in the spelling packets by Friday.
We changed seating arrangements.
Math: We practiced reading different kinds of graphs and discussed the pros and cons of using each graph. Their homework involves making graphs from the information provided. This worksheet is on the website and is called 5-5.
(VERY IMPORTANT) I sent home an orange paper that I need all the parents to read. It talks about what is going on the next 3 weeks before Christmas vacation. I posted a copy of this on the website as well.
Grammar: We discussed some of the rules of using commas. They had a worksheet to do for homework.
HW:
