Today we:

during our class meeting, we talked about the difference between good and bad pride. Then we compared bad pride and humility. I asked the students to not use sarcasm because too many students have gotten their feelings hurt because of snide comments. In order to build on the classroom unity, we wrote thank you notes to each other.

Math: We are starting unit 5: probability and graphs. We talked about the difference between facts and opinions and how you can gather information to make a survey. For homework, they are supposed to do a blue worksheet covering this issue and they were to ask 5 people what is their favorite ice cream flavor: Chocolate, vanilla, stawberry, or butter pecan.

We had 4 great commercial presentations. They all did a great job.

We didn't have LEAD meeting. We are changing some school policy. Started in December, we are going to have LEAD meeting only once a month. This will leave more time for instruction.

HW:
Math: finish 5-1 worksheet (blue paper)
writing: finish ad if they haven't already.
