I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.

Friday, November 19

Today we:

Had computers. They learned about computer safety.

Had our spelling test (week 11).

We presented 2 of our persuasive ads. It was as so fun and entertaining. Your kids are VERY creative!

Had our mystery reader. Thank you to Mr. Southard for coming in and reading a story about Sarah Hale and how she saved Thanksgiving (and teaching us how to make cinnamon toothpicks:-)

Art: We made cornucopias. The children were to write what they are grateful for on each fruit in the basket.

FYI, grades were posted and report cards should be handed out on Dec 3.

Also, I sent out a new scholastic book order form/magazines. These orders are due on Thursday, December 2nd. Remember, your order's not only give your child a fun book to read but also give our class free books for our library. We all win when you order.

If you would like to browse/order online the website is: www.scholastic.com/bookclubs

The class activation code is GVBYX

BTW, if you order, the books will be back in time for Christmas. Let me know ahead of time if you want me to keep these secret from the kids (for Christmas presents).
