What we did today:

Your kids are amazing!!! Today we won our connect 5 reward! (ask them to explain it to you). The kids have worked really hard to get this. As a class vote, we decided to have a read-a-thon tomorrow. We are going have it from 10:30 to 11:30 and 1:15 to 2:15. I told the kids that they can bring treats if they want but they will have to share. I will be bring a quesadilla maker. The kids can wear their PJ's and can also bring a pillow and a small blanket.

Math: We learned about graphing on a y and x axis. We also talked about how to make a table that help you to find the numbers that need to go on the x and y axis. We did a bit of review for the test on Thursday.

Writing: We did a peer edit of our Halloween story and then did some revising of the story. They are supposed to continue writing and fix any mistakes. There is a rubric that tells what is expected for an A. That can be found and printed up on our class page.

Science: Electricity (with Mr. Alder)

Some FBLA members from Timpanogas High School came in to teach the kids about good money management. They learned about how to save money.

HW:
1. Read!! (make sure that their book club books are done by Wednesday)
2. Math worksheet on X and Y axis.
3. Writing: Work on Halloween story. We will have our last edit on Thursday.
