Today was a fun and crazy day!

We started off doing our centers and guided reading as usual. Then they went to PE/music at 9:30.

From 10:30 to 11:30 we had the first part of our Read-a-thon. They kids read while I made them Quesadillas. There were also a bunch of other treats (Thanks to you parents for buying them).

After lunch, we had science. They have a science test with Mr. Alder tomorrow.

After science, we had part 2 of our Read-a-thon. The kids read like crazy! Most were able to get their book club book done. Many got their book report books done.

Then, we finished of the day reading from "The Old Willis Place."

I told the kids that they totally deserved that Read-a-thon. They have been such great kids lately. I also reminded them to keep it up.

HW: In order to prepare for the Math test tomorrow, I had them to the practice test in the book. Page 188 - 189 #1-25. This will help them to best prepare for the test. Also, I told them if they had a parent/guardian/friend check and sign it, they would get 2 extra credit points on the test.
