Day 151

AM/PM--NON-Fiction books. We put them together today. They can do touch ups tonight and turn it in tomorrow with the writing folder and rubric filled out. 6th Grade play: We watched "Taming of the Shrew" by Mr. Jeppson's class Music: Recorder Ninjas. Read Aloud: HOmer P. Figg Math: Today we had a bit of a review and then took a quiz. I hope to finish this unit and take the test next week. Social Studies: We learned about some famous abolistionist: John Brown, Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth and Fredrick Douglas. HW: Study for the spelling test, finish spelling pack 29. (bonus: Confederate and Emancipation) Tomorrow is our readathon, students can wear their pjs, pillows and blankets. They can also bring snacks to eat while they read. Students can finish their books for the month. If you can bring some snacks to share with the class, it will be much appreciated but you do not have to share if you don't want to.
