I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.

Day 135

AM/PM--Non-fiction books and Guided reading (focus on Monitoring your understanding)

Writing/Math: Today we got the laptops in our class and used them to learn how to make a graph for our non-fiction books. There is a link on my website that will help you. We went through the different graphs and how to enter the information so that you could print it up at home. We also learned how to design our pages for our non-fiction books on a powerpoint page.

Music

Social Studies: Today we started learning about the Industrial Revolution. In the 1800s, photos were introduced and we are now able to see the history we are talking about through the pictures that were taken back then.

Maturation. This was a great presentation and the kids learned a lot. Please ask your child what they learned. It's a topic kids want to learn more about but I am not able to teach. Thanks.

HW:
Read--still need those March calendar mins.
Math: Get the information you need to make your graphs.
Writing: Finish the outline/layout of your NF books.

FYI- I am still looking for 1-2 more moms to help be chaperones for our Field trip on Tuesday, April 17 to the Hope of America practice session and Bean museum. I sent out an information sheet on that today.

Also, tomorrow is picture day.
