Day 103

AM/PM--Reading stamina and guided reading

Library

Math: Today we worked on looking at coordinates on a grid with integers. We reviewed positive and negative numbers and then we talked about the four quadrants on a coordinate plane that is divided by a x and y-axis. Then we practiced placing points on the grid on a computer game that is on my blog.

Social Studies: Today we started talking about new unit on the Constitution. This unit will take the entire month. We will talk about how the Constitution was made, what it says, and how it is important to our country.

Read Redwall

Science: Today we talked about life cycles and how all living things go through an life cycle. Humans go through 3 major stages: infancy, puberty, and adulthood. However, other living things go through a cycle that is different. For example, a frog, butterfly, beetle, or plants will go through a life cycle before they will eventually look like their parents.

Enrichment: Kids went to Mrs. O'very's class to learn art with chalk and pastels.

Math: Pink worksheet that marks the coordinates to make a shape about Valentine's Day.
