AM/PM--Book Report Presentations

Writing: Today we typed up our persuasive essays on the computers. If they did not finish it in class, they will have to finish up at home.

Math: Today we learned that to find the volume of a rectangular prism. We learned that you can get the area of one face and then multiply it by how many times it goes back.

P.E.

Science: Today we got to see DNA!!! We looked at the DNA of a onion. If you want to see how to do it at home, check out this website: www.amnh.org/ology/?channel=genetics#

Today we had a goodbye party for Anas and Ethan. We are sad to see them go but we are happy to know that we have 2 new students: Gabriel and Cisco.

HW:
Read
Writing: If you didn't finish typing your paper in class today, then you need to finish it at home. (Most everyone finished it in class).
Math: yellow worksheet on volume.

IMPORTANT!!: This Friday is going to be a common start day. That means that all the kids will come to school at 8am and leave at 2:15. This is because we have the science fair that day and the judges need to ask the student questions.
