Day 57

AM/PM--Buddy Reading with Ms. Taylor's class. Spelling test. Worked on Book Reports (due on Tuesday)
Math: Review day. Today we played jeopardy to review some concepts. Some kids got a little upset because they didn't win but I told them that it wasn't about winning but was about having fun.

Grammar: We reviewed sentences with Compound Direct Objects.

Writing: Today we finished up our 5th paragraph and did a bit more editing. I didn't have time to meet with every student individually so if some of you parents could edit your child's paragraph's I would appreciate it. I will do what I can do on Monday and Tuesday when we type them up. Also, because we are a little bit behind schedule on our writing, I made it an option to do presentations. Those who want to do presentations will get extra credit. These will have to be done on the Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving break. However, their five paragraphs are due this Tuesday. Students can to type these up in class. If some students want to type it up at home, that is fine. I will just play math or typing games while others are typing theirs up. Keep in mind that if they type it up at home that they follow the expectations on the rubric.
