Day 50

AM/PM -- Centers/GR
Math: Took our math test. I was very pleased with the results.
Writing: We started our prewrite stage by researching information on our American Heroes. Today was the last day to research this as well. Also, we went to the library and got some books on our heroes.

Read Aloud: "School of Fear" Today we learned Agyrophobia is the fear of crossing the street and Ablutophobia is the fear of washing or taking a bath.

Social Studies: We took our Unit test on colonial America.

Grammar: We studied the differences between a link and helping verb.

Art: We did blind contour drawings. We looked at a variety of art and discussed the reason that we create art. We came to the conclusion that art is a way of letting everyone know that we exist. That we are alive. Every kind of art has a reason behind it, even a single line can show that we exist.

HW:
Read Book Report books.
