Day 49

AM/PM--Centers and Guided Reading

Math: Review for the test tomorrow. I think that we are going to do well.

Grammar: We went over Subject Nouns + Linking Verbs.

Computers: Was introduced to keynote which is an Apple computers version of powerpoint. We will be using this information a lot of this year during our presentations.

Read Aloud: "School of Fear" Today we learned about Illygnoaphobia--the fear of vertigo or getting dizzy when looking down.

Social Studies: Today we finished our Unit on Colonial America. We talked about how the French and Indian War planted a seed of independence in the minds of the Americans. They beat the French without much help from the British. Then we talked about how this is the beginning of the American Revolutions.

Study for the Social Studies test
Work on spelling packet
Research your biography hero and decide if that is the one that you really want to do.
