Day 36

AM/PM--Centers/GR

Library
Math: Simplifying using the GCF.

Grammar: Compound Subjects and Predicates.

Writing: We are reading some mystery stories and talking about how to make a problem in an a story that needs to be solved. We also talked about how to find and make clues.

REad Aloud: We are starting a new book called "Something Upstairs" by Avi. It is a ghost story that is appropriate for Halloween.

Social Studies: Today we went of the US map and made some pneumonics to help us remember states and capitals.

Science: We reviewed for the test tomorrow and watched a Bill Nye video. We also started on our buildings for our lighting ceremony. We will work on them again tomorrow.

Read.
*Math: Page 417 #1 - 30 in the book.
*Grammar: Worksheet on Subjects and Predicates
Writing: think about what you want your mystery story to be about.
SS: Study your states and captials (test on Friday)
Science: Study for test tomorrow.
