I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.

Day 20

Today we:

Small group: Centers and GR with Mrs. Varner

Math: We reviewed our homework on properties and then we learned how to solve double digit multiplication problems in various ways. We learned the lattice, partial product, and then the old school way. For their homework, they are supposed to do the partial product way and then do it another way.

Grammar: Quiz on basic parts of speech.

Worked a bit on the spelling packets.

Read aloud (ch. 17)--the book is getting really good.

Social Studies: Today was the last day to do classroom group work. I also went over the rubric and expectations for the presentation. On Friday, we will have a sign up for presentation days. We will present from Wed to Friday. Those who go on Thursday will be given a bit of a benefit of the doubt and will be graded easier.

Also we went over the Northeast region.

Enrichment activity: Had a soccer game with Mrs. O'vary's class.

HW:
Read out loud for 20 mins. (please record your stars in your homework folder).
Math: green partial product paper.
Writing: If you haven't already, bring your personal narrative so that we can type it up tomorrow.
S.S.: Work on your American Indian presentation if you want. Remember it will be presented next week.
