Today during small group time, we had our last day doing research in the library. We also read with the 1st graders.
Class meeting:

Math: Today we worked on finding volume by using legos. We also reviewed a bit with standard measurements of capacity.
Grammar: We talked about conjugating verbs and how the verb tells what is happening in the sentence. We also discussed the different formal writing verse colloquial terms. We also talked about how there are regular and irregular verbs. The students learned a few irregular verbs by writing them in past tense. There is homework on this.
HW:
I was having problems with the scanner so the homework is not on the website today. Those that were not there today will be able to do these in class tomorrow.
Math: Finding the volume with given units.
Grammar: Conjugating verbs in present, past, and future tense. Also finding rules that apply to how a verb will be conjugated in past tense.
