Small group: analyzing information to find the importance of the book. We are focusing on Non fictions.
Story telling: This was to get the storytelling finalist for the 5th grade. Congratulations to Lindsey and Madison for winning our class competition.
Math: We learned about how 3D figures need to be examined from all angles because sometimes it looks different when you look at it in different perspectives.
Art: This was an amazing art history lesson given by Mrs. Bateman. She talked about the representations of art over history and how Pablo Picasso was able to change the perspectives of art but looking at figures in various points of views (both visually and mentally). Next week, we will be actually drawing self-portraits in a "Picasso style".
HW:
Math: this is 10-2. It is a simple one because i want them to focus on the regions.
Memorize your regions and get as many donations as possible;-)
Memorize your poem to recite next week.
