Today we:
practiced a new program that helps the kids to improve on writing skills. I encouraged them to practice this program at home. The DWA is next Friday and any practice that they do will greatly improve their scores.

Social studies: Today we did a little review on the westward expansion. We also talked about child labor in the industrial revolution. There will be a quiz given either tomorrow or Tuesday on this topic.
Math: Today we learned how to find a perimeter on polygons. There is homework on this topic.
Science: With Mrs. Beach. I believe they got to do something with their volcanoes. They have a test on Tuesday.
Writing: We are practice poems. Today we learned about couplets, triplets, and quatrains. Then, we practiced a bit. We will continue with this subject next week.
