Small group: We did one last prompt to prepare them for tomorrow. You can see their scores online at the www.utahwrite.com site. Students can provide you with their passwords.
We practiced our Hope of America songs. If you could, please have them practice these songs on the CDs that I sent home.
Library day
Math: Students learned the formula A= b x h to find the area of a parallelogram. We worked on these and there is a homework assignment on that tonight.
Social Studies: We did a quick review and did made a Venn diagram to compare the characteristics of the North and the South.
Writing: Students are working on a editing their poems. These are supposed to go on a mounted paper and then I will grade them. When all of them are done, I will put them outside.
HW:
Math: 9-9 finding the area of parallelograms
Read for 20 minutes and record your minutes.
GET PLENTY OF SLEEP AND A GOOD BREAKFAST.
(The DWA test will start at 12:15 tomorrow and will go till 2:00).
