Small group: We are just about done with our persuasive essays. I encourage you to read them when I send them back next week. They are really quite good.
Social Studies: We talked about the Trail of Tears, the Allamo, and how Texas became a part of the United States.
Library
Math: We reviewed divisibility rules. They are doing a worksheet for homework on division. The do not have to do the last two lines but they can if they want extra credit.
Science: With Mrs. Beach/Cross
Writing: We talked about Diamante poems. Here is a fun site you can go to if you want to make one with your child for fun.
