Today we:
Had small group time where we are still preparing for our DRA which will be given next week.
We had PE.
Math: We talked about estimating fractions. We looked at various country flags and tried to determine fractional values of various colors on the flag. This helped to understand the concept of estimating for their homework.
Science: With Mr. Alder
Writing: Today I explained the rules and useful strategies in debates that will be helpful for persuasion. You can see these on the website if you would like to practice at home.
Happy Birthday to Nate. We ended the day playing capture the flag in the gym.
HW:
Math: page 403 #1 - 21 (I put these on the website if you forgot your book).
Tomorrow is Library day, don't forget your library books.
