Today we:
small group We presented our book reports. NOTE: next week we are going back into our old routine. All students will have to read 2 books each month. They get to pick one and I get to pick one. Just keep that in mind because they will have to have their choice chosen by next week.
Computers: They are working on their powerpoints on their states.
Math: We talked about dividing with fractions. They all did very well. There is a pink worksheet (8-3c is online). That is due on Monday. Most of them seemed to be able to finish it in class.
(Remember: their test on fraction operations is next Wednesday)
Writing: They were supposed to turn in their rough drafts for their persuasive essays. If they didn't finish, they are supposed to have it in by Monday. Please make sure they have those done so they don't get behind.
We had our spelling and regions test.
We spend the last 1/2 hour outside enjoying the weather.
