Today:
We did buddy reading with Mrs. Aase's class and then had a lesson on using various comprehension strategies to understand a text.
Math: Today we discussed how to draw a scale drawing of different objects. We talked about how we could use ratio to create an object that is the same but either larger or smaller than the actual object.
Social Studies: Today we played Bill of Rights Bingo. The students had to choose which amendment applied to the correct situation.
Wriiting: We are finish up our books.
HW: The students have a blue worksheet that has them reading maps and interpreting the true scale according to the ratio given.
Also, Christmas is right around the corner and the kids are getting a bit excited. Today, I had to stop the children from talking at least 50 times. It is really disrupting our class routine. If your could, please take a moment and talk to your child about staying focused and not disturbing the class.
