I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service.
I acted and behold, service was joy.

Day 129

AM/PM--
Spelling pretest #28 (bonus word: Television, Deoxyribonucleic Acid) Guided Reading

Writing: Went over the rubric and expectations for this week. I need the web outline, outline of story, and Introduction paragraphs done by tomorrow. REMEMBER: Your introduction has to be interesting, we will be going over the introduction paragraphs tomorrow and determine if they want us to read more or not.

Math: Took the pretest. This helps me to see what items need to be taught in more detail. If students get over 90% then they do not have to do the homework for the unit. We had one student that got a 91%.
We also had an overview of the unit on comparing data. We will be discussing different graphs and when we use them (or not use them). Also mean, median, mode, and range.

Science: We got a new class pet, or rather petS. We got some mega-meal worms. These will be on display in our class for the rest of the school year. They are there to help us to see the life cycle and change in these animals. Many students think they know what the worms will turn into....we will just have to see:-)

Read Aloud.

HW:
READ--remember your self-picked book is due on Friday.
Writing: Finish your web (in your folder), your outline, and write your introduction paragraph.
Math: pink worksheet on bar graphs.
