AM/PM -- Centers and Guided reading. We are focusing on Summarizing this month.
Math: Review of decimal, fraction, and percentage equivalencies. Then, we compared fraction amounts.
Art: Today we looked at several different art types and had a discussion about what is art. We decided that it is simply expression and adults, children, and animals can do it. They are supposed to watch the video on this blog of the elephant painting.
We are also doing timed math now. We need to work on improving our speed and knowledge of simple math facts. This will help us with our next unit and will be a good review of our multiplication facts.
Science: We are starting our new unit in Science: Earth and Volcanos. This is being taught by Mrs. Despain.
Enrichment: Students played Soccer with Mr. Schultz.
