Today, I had to talk to the kids about focusing on the lesson. I had a few kids wrestling and throwing blocks during math. Many thought it was too difficult and instead of trying they decided to talk about other things. I was really upset that they would take my lesson so lightly. I had to have a serious talk with the students about paying attention during class and not talking when I am talking. There is a lot of time wasted when I had to stop and ask students to focus on the lesson or to pay attention. This has been a serious problem the last weeks. To make my life easier, please talk to your child about being respectful to the teacher.
Also, I will be out of town the next few days. I will not be recording information on the blog while I am gone. However, all the homework will be up on the website to be printed if needed.
I will be back on Thursday of next week. I have 2 pro teachers subbing for me (Mrs. Amy Miner and Mrs. Cheryl Rawson). They have some great and important lessons planned.
